Xi to attend business roundtable in Seattle

More details on President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the US next week are emerging and the president will begin his visit in the north-west city of Seattle where he will rub shoulders with top U.S. executives.Taobao agent ]Among the meetings on President Xi’s agenda is a roundtable on Wednesday, (September 23rd,) organized by The Paulson Institute and hosted by former U.S. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson.
President Xi is expected to deliver a speech at the event. Fifteen chief executives of prominent U.S. companies -- and the same number from China -- will participate. The U.S. companies participating in the two-hour discussion come from a broad cross-section of industries. Big names such as Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Boeing and Amazon are on the list.

Meanwhile, the leaders of Internet giants such Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent, as well as those of banks, food companies and steel and construction companies and CEOs from the two countries are expected to raise concerns about gaining greater access to each other’s markets and exchange views on China’s efforts to push through economic reforms to bolster sustainable growth. China Ebay
