National Diving C'ship: Guangdong native Xie claims second gold of tournament

China's national diving championship continued Wednesday in Shanghai,Taobao agent with Xie Siyi and Huang Bowen of Guangdong province teaming up in the men's 3-meter synchronized event.

As the competition will not affect the results for the 2016 Rio Olympics trials, it features young divers such as Xie, who is also part of the national team. He and Huang reduced the difficulty of their maneuvers, and the pair finished with 449.61 total points, leading the second placed duo by 36.06 points.

As the winner of the 1-meter springboard at the recent Kazan FINA World Championships,China Ebay Xie has maintained his form at the national tournament, winning two golds so far.
