China air force aims to recruit new blood

For those who didn't get enough of the Beijing victory parade on Sept 3rd,Taobao agent they now have a chance to relive the marvellous moments in Jilin province. This is thanks to China's Air Force aviation open day, which will run through Sunday.
Complex formation, risky brush past, sudden drop, then separate like a flower blooming in the sky, a stunning airshow was playing out here in Changchun, Jilin province, kicking off the Aviation Open Day of People's Liberation Army Air Force.
The festival is part of the opening ceremony for the Aviation University of Air Force. It aims to attract more young people into joining the air force. Many aviation enthusiasts -- young and old -- decided that this is an event not to be missed.
"The sound of the J-11 fighter plane was so blaring. I watched J-10 fighter planes last year and the year before, they were pretty good. I can feel its great power just by watching from here," said Wang Keqian, a viewer.
Many advanced aircraft and aerobatics teams performed in the stunt were also participants of the Beijing parade, which attracted worldwide attention to China's military prowess.
Officials say the complex stunts and maneuvers were specially designed for these events.
"The performances of our Hongying aerobatics team are a team effort. These include somersaults, flips and rollings, as well as the ending maneuvers. All of these are our unique moves, and they are the first in our country," said Wang Xueshi, captain of Hongying Aerobatics Team.

Through campaigns such as the aviation open day, the PLA Air Force had attracted one thousand new cadets this year. It also released a brand-new recruiting promo at the end of July,China Ebay craving for more fresh blood to join the line in defending the country's airspace.
