Taobao Sold 1002 Tons of Laundry Detergent in 3 Days

Taobao just sold 1,002 tons of laundry detergent over the 3-day period ended on 31 August 2014 according to Taobao’s official Weibo account. Taobao agent

This was a promotion taking place on 29 August lasting 3 days, organized by Taobao with five laundry detergent brands: Liby, Walch, Blue Moon, OMO, Ever Green. Each brand had made record of single day sales. In total, 1,002 tons of laundry detergent,Taobao Broker  which roughly equals to 30 years of total sales from a mid to large-size supermarket.

Alibaba, Taobao’s holding comapny, disclosed on Wednesday that its net income nearly tripled to $2 billion in the second quarter of 2014.
