UEFA Champions League: Gunners pick up first win of Group F play

Arsenal has struggled during this season’s UEFA Champions League, losing both games in Group F, and things would only get tougher as it welcomed pool leader Bayern Munich to the Emirates Stadium.Taobao agent
Bayern had a perfect in the tournament, and had also not lost in its domestic league. But things changed as Olivier Giroud came off the bench to try and lead the EPL side to victory.

Early in the game, Robert Lewandowski dribbled through a few defenders but could not get a good shot off.

In the 33rd minute, Nacho Monreal found a wide-open Walcott, but a magnificent stop from Neuer kept it scoreless. Point blank range, but the German came up big.
In the second half, Lewandowski was played through but he was denied his a goal by Cech.
As the game toward its close, Arsenal had a free-kick that Neuer misjudged, allowing Giroud to bundle the ball into. As the Gunners striker tried to get his forehead on it, it may have glanced in off his arm, 1-0 to the home team.
In injury time, Arsenal looked to seal the win, and did so as Mesut Ozil tapped a cross in, although Neuer thought he saved it. But it is ruled over the line.
The Gunners secured a 2-0 win over the Bavarian side.

Draw leaves Chelsea third in group on 4 points
Meanwhile, Chelsea faced Dynamo Kiev in the Ukraine.
In, the ninth minute Eden Hazard had a chance for the Blues, but his shot hit the frame of the goal, with the goalie just getting a fingertip on it to keep it from going in.
Later in the first half, Nemanja Matic burst forward from midfield, but poked his attempt wide of the post, no score at the break.
And after the restart, Willian's freekick hit the crossbar and stayed out.
Chelsea put in a great effort but was held to a 0-0, leaving the Blues third in Group G.

In other action, an Ivan Rakitic double led Barca to a 2-0 win over BATE Borisov. Olympiakos boosted its chances of advancing by beating Dinamo Zagreb. Bayer Leverkusen and Roma played to an entertaining 4-4 draw. Porto went top of Group G following a 2-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv. English Taobao Valencia beat Gent thanks to an own goal. And Zenit remains unbeaten after a 3-1 victory over Lyon.
