Senior CPC leader meets Kim Jong Un

Visiting senior leader of the Communist Party of China, Liu Yunshan, has met with DPRK top leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang.Taobao agent Liu is heading a CPC delegation to attend activities marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK's ruling Workers' Party of Korea.

Liu, who's in the DPRK for a four-day visit, presented a signed letter from CPC Central Committee General Secretary Xi Jinping to Kim Jong-Un.
Xi said in the letter that the China-DPRK traditional friendship, cultivated by older generations of leadership from both countries, should be treasured by both sides. It added that China is willing to seek closer communication and deepen cooperation.

Kim extended his heart-felt thanks for Xi's letter and asked Liu to convey his greetings and best wishes to Xi.
During their meeting, Liu said China and the DPRK should enhance high-level political communication, step up exchange at all levels and advance pragmatic cooperation in fields including trade and economy.

Kim said the current visit is sure to play an important role in carrying on the DPRK-China friendship and expanding bilateral relations.
Kim also expressed his appreciation of China's achievements, saying he has high hopes for the "Chinese dream" and the rejuvenation of the great Chinese nation.
On the issue of the Korean Peninsula, Liu said maintaining peace and stability benefits all sides, and called for joint efforts from all concerned sides.
He added that China is willing to work with Pyongyang to strive for an early resumption of the six-party talks on the DPRK's nuclear issue.China Ebay

Kim said Pyongyang is willing to make efforts to improve relations with Seoul and safeguard the stability of the peninsula.
