China Open: Djokovic breezes past Bolelli 6-1, 6-1

Top of the order is tennis as world number one Novak Djokovic took on Simone Bolelli on Tuesday to begin his campaign at the China Open here in Beijing.Taobao agent The Serbian star clearly likes the Chinese capital as he has not lost a single match at this tournament and has captured the title on five occasions since 2009, although he didn't play in 2011. With his record at a perfect 24-0, Djoker has no desire to see it tarnished.

The top seed in the red shirt would rarely be challenged in the opening set. A quick backhand winner there and he later takes the frame 6-1.
The fans appreciate Djokovic's perfect performance over the years here and the stadium was packed in approval.
The second set would see Bolleli go all out to try and make a dent in the Serb's almost impenetrable defence, and he's finally able to do so here with a big smash to the corner to fight off a break point.
But those efforts would be to no avail as Djoker reels off the next five games in a row to take the second set 6-1. Next up for him is China's Zhang Ze in the second round.

Meanwhile, third seed Rafael Nadal played home favorite Wu Di in the opening round. The two have a bit of history as Wu was a ball boy and Nadal's training partner at the ATP Finals in Shanghai 10 years ago. The two come to the net and Wu's quick hands give him a break of serve to make it 2-2 in the opening set.
Wu would convert four of his seven break points in the match and causes plenty of trouble for the first top-10 opponent he has ever played. But Nadal gets into form late in the first set and finally takes it 6-4.

Nadal, needing a strong finish to the season to qualify for the ATP Finals in London next month,Taobao Broker would close out the match with another 6-4 set to make the second round in Beijing, while Wu was satisfied with his performance.
