In 2013, Grace Mugabe founded the center to care for orphans and abandoned children. Peng had previously sent teaching facilities, as well as educational and sport materials to the school.
Peng said orphans are the most vulnerable and at-risk community in society. She added that it is the society's common responsibility to give them a happy life and a good education, like other children. She said she hoped the children will all be able to grow up in a comfortable, safe and warm environment at the center.
