Ducks end three-game losing streak with overtime win

The defending CBA champions, the Beijing Ducks were at home to the Guangdong Southern Tigers who came into the nation's capital on an eight game win streak. The Ducks on the other hand have been moving the other way and were looking to snap a three-game skid against their familiar foes from the south.Louis Vuitton wholesale

Despite a poor first quarter, higlighted by Fang Shuo's errant pass to Guangdong's coach, the Ducks are only down by 2.
But as the mistakes pile up, the Southern Tigers begin to pull away. Will Bynum tight on Stephon Marbury who is going to find Zhu Yanxi for a three, cutting the gap to six points.
And Marbury is going to connect with Zhu again as the forward knocks down another trey and the Ducks lead 38-36. But Bynum drives in to tie it up at 47 before Ike Diogu hits the jumper and Guangdong are back in the lead. The champions are again sluggish in the third quarter as Zhai Xiaochuan misses the three and coach Min Lulei is less than pleased.
But in the fourth, the Ducks find their rhythm and Zhang Qingpeng steps back and connect from long distance. Then it would be Marbury doing the same followed by Ji Zhe and suddenly Beijing have a one point lead. Eight seconds left and tied at 92, Marbury passes to Sun Yue whose effort bounces off the rim so we're headed to overtime.
And Sun makes a great streal and races the other way where he's fouled by Bynum. Sun makes the free throws and Beijing pull out a close one 106 to 104, ending Guangdong's winning streak.

In other games on Wednesday, Xinjiang defeated Sichuan 124 to 118, Liaoning overcame Bayi 106-96, Jiangsu won against Shangdong 113-99, Beikong defeated Shanxi 118 to 104, Zhejiang beat Fujian 124-107, and Tianjin topped Jilin by 30 points.Outlet Online
