Bono launches an all-star AIDS campaign

Want to spend quality time with George Clooney? Or walk a red carpet with Meryl Streep? Or visit the set of "Game of Thrones"? These are among the once-in-a-lifetime experiences to be won as pop-singer and U2 front-man Bono launches an all-star campaign to raise money against AIDS.China Ebay

Donations of at least US$10 to Bono's charity organization RED get you a chance to win. And Bono himself will go on a bike ride with one donor, a year after he had a serious bike accident in New York's Central Park that required surgery.

Meanwhile, Barry Manilow and Scarlett Johansson are making music magic. The 31-year-old actress sang for a promo alongside talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel and singer-songwriter Manilow to promote Bono's campaign. In the promo, Kimmel calls up Manilow to enlist his help for a catchy jingle. Manilow is happy to help but asks Kimmel to find him a muse. Enter Johansson.

Kimmel is also dedicating his Tuesday late-night show to the campaign. He and actress Olivia Wilde will host “SHOPATHON,” a parody of home shopping.

Other "experiences" include some quality time with George Clooney, attending a red carpet event with Meryl Streep, a set visit of "Game of Thrones," and a portrait painting by actor James Franco.

The campaign begins Tuesday to coincide with World AIDS Day on Dec. 1.China Ebay
