To pay Taobao items, you can use your international or local credit card. We accept payments by international credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD) and many local payment cards.
We also accept Webmoney, RBK Money, Contact, Western Union and China local bank wire transfer.
For international buyers we use USD as main currency.
If you are using Taobao agent service from China, you can use bank transfer to pay your Taobao order in RMB.
Our currency rate is based on average interbank currency rate. Currently it is 1RMB=0.164USD. We don’t charge transaction fee.
How to pay on Taobao by myself?
If you want buy from taobao on your own, you would need to get a local Chinese bank account and/or open Alipay account which you can recharge by Chinese internet banking or local post office, for example. Alipay is the payment system that has some advantages such as escrow and nearly all for free services.
Though, if you are outside of China, there is no possibility to get any of it, even if you would like to try a foreign card of Bank of China, for example, still it will not work.
Shipping
For Taobao international shipping, we offer 3 options with the biggest discount:
DHL: approximately 5 – 10 days to deliver after the dispatch. Taobao FOCUS offers up to 60% discount! With our price, for many countries, it is even cheaper shipping than EMS. DHL is especially recommended when your parcel is comparatively heavy.
EMS: delivery within approximately 7 – 20 days after the dispatch. Taobao FOCUS offers up to 50% discount! In cooperation with TNT shipping company, EMS is now able to deliver almost anywhere in the world.
AIR MAIL: approximately 15 – 40 days to arrive to destination. Shipping fees start from 14RMB! It is the cheapest delivery service, but the time for arrival is unstable and the delivery tracking service is not as good as for others.
