2018 World Cup Qualifying: Dominant victory is PRC's most lopsided win in 15 years

China sent a message that they want to reach the 2018 World Cup. The PRC grabbed their biggest win in 15 years, smashing a dozen goals past a hapless Bhutan team in Changsha, Hunan Province. The win is vital to China, who needed a win last night and in their next three matches, to ensure they move onto the next round of qualification.www.thaijersey.com

The hosts opening the scoring off Yu Hai's corner in the tenth minute, Mei Fang eventually pushing it into the net.
Three minutes later, Yu Dabao's kick is stopped, but Yang Xu puts the rebound in, China up 2-0. Another three minutes later, Yu Dabao scores on a header. Three-nil as the bench looks enthused.
Yang Xu then bags his second goal on a penalty. Zhang Chengdong finds Yu Hanchao, who knocks the ball into the net in the 35th minute. The 28-year old Yang Xun finds the back of the net and completes his hat-trick.
Yu Dabao contributes another goal for China one minute later. China have a 7-0 lead at the break. Alain Perrin's side start off the second half in similar fashion with a fourth goal from Yang. Then Wang Yongpo converts the ball in as the match starts to devolve.

Yu Hanchao adds a 10th goal for the Chinese squad. A long shot from Wang Yongpo in the 81st makes the score 11-0. And the scoring doesn't finish until two minutes from time, when Zhang Xizhe notches the 12th and last goal for Perrin's side.
"We know the situation on the field. After the first half, I told our players we should be better in the second half. Qatar scored more goals when they played Bhutan. We hit 12, I think we can score more. After this match, the players need to adjust and prepare for the next match against Hong Kong, we must win there," said Alain Perrin, China coach.
"I hope we can win against Hong Kong in our next match. The result is very important. I want to thank the coach, for giving me the chance to play in my hometown. Now we should have scored more goals, I hope we can keep our form against Hong Kong," said Huang Bowen, China midfieler.
China remain in third place in Group C, behind leaders Qatar and Hong Kong, who edged the Maldives 1-0. The Chinese travel to Hong Kong for a do-or-die battle next week, as they need a win to keep their hopes of advancing alive, as one of the four best second-placed teams in Asian qualifying.www.thaijersey.com
