Australian Open: Zheng Saisai ousted in second round

In Australian Open, China’s highest-ranked player Zheng Saisai faced Johanna Konta of Great Britain in round two. After two Chinese competitors were eliminated in the second round on Wednesday, Zheng is now one of only two plyers from the PRC remaining in the singles’ draw.Taobao agent

World Number One beats wildcard Halys 6-1, 6-2, 7-6

On men’s side, Novak Djokovic reached the third round for the 10th consecutive year after defeating 19-year-old wild card-entry Quentin Halys.

The Serbian was broken once by Halys in the third set, but recovered to close out the match on his second match point when the Frenchman hit into the net. He will next face Andreas Seppi in the third round.

Ninth seeded Frenchman victorious in 44 minutes

The Frenchman ninth seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga wins his match against an overpowered Omar Jasika in a blistering 44 minutes to book a place in the third round.

28th seeded Italian Seppi took out Denis Kudla in straight sets and will be rewarded with a match against Djokovic, and local hopeful Nick Kyrgios blasted by Pablo Cuevas in three sets. China Ebay
